The first part of the season finale begins where "Qallupilluit" ended. Jarod is finally reunited with his father and comes face to face with a 13-year-old clone of himself that Mr. Raines has created for The Centre.

While staying with the Inuit who picked him up from the wreckage of The Centre's Arctic research station, Jarod learns that his father, Major Charles, left something behind for him -- a current picture of himself, an address and a rendering of the constellation Gemini.

His father's trail eventually leads Jarod to Carrie Osborne's flight school. The day that Jarod arrives, Brigitte attempts to murder Major Charles by rigging his plane to explode. Seeing the aircraft crash and burn, Brigitte is satisfied that her job is done and leaves. In fact, Major Charles has already left the school, and a hapless student pays with his life for taking the Major's plane up without permission.

Captain Osborne's daughter takes Jarod to the car that his father used while he was there, and Jarod finds the phone number for Pakor Frozen Food written on one of the file folders Major Charles left in the trunk. Jarod sneaks into the plant but is soon detected and must flee. As he tries to find his way out, Jarod runs headlong into the man for whom he has been searching for so long -- Major Charles.

While they both enjoy their long awaited reunion, Jarod and his father join forces to find out the secret of The Centre's "Project Gemini." The quest leads them to a facility called "Donoterase," where they discover that Mr. Raines has managed to successfully clone a human -- Jarod!

Major Charles wants them to get as far away from The Centre as they can, but Jarod convinces him that his teenaged replica is a part of their family and cannot be abandoned to The Centre.

Miss Parker discovers another secret that her father has been keeping from her -- Project Gemini. Learning that her mother refused to endorse this project only makes Miss Parker more determined than ever to find out what it is. She discovers the answers to her questions at Donoterase, when she walks in on Mr. Raines as he is moving Jarod's teenaged clone prior sending him to Mutumbo and the Triumvirate. Added to her shock and amazement is the revelation that Sydney has asked to be the coordinator of Project Gemini and will be re-creating some of the simulations that he did with Jarod.
